Today I'm going to show you how to make my Slanted Cluster Cloths. These are super simple, textured cloths that would be great in the kitchen or bathroom!

Materials Needed:
Crochet Hook I/5.50mm
100% cotton yarn (I use Lily Sugar ‘N Cream)
Tapestry Needle
Stitches Used:
Sc = single crochet
Dc = double crochet
Let's get started!
Row 1: Loosely chain 30. You want to do this so that your cloth has a nice square shape. If the chain is too tight, the bottom will be smaller than the top.
In second chain from hook, [sc, dc]. The combination of these 2 stitches creates a slanted cluster of sorts (hence the name of this pattern!).
*Skip the next chain, [sc, dc] in next.* Repeat this sequence to the last chain.
You may notice little "holes" in your chain (between the clusters), and those are perfectly fine! It will stretch out as you add more rows.
Turn. You should have 15 slanted clusters.
Row 2: Chain 1. Skip first stitch as seen below.
[Sc, dc] in next. *Skip stitch, [sc, dc] in next.*
Repeat * to the last stitch. Turn.
Rows 3 - 20: Now you'll just repeat Row 2! Isn't it simple?!?
If you want to change the length of your washcloth, simply add more rows! Using this pattern, your finished product should be about 9" wide and 8" long.
Row 21: To finish if off, add a last row of sc. So, chain 1, skip first stitch, sc in all others. Fasten off; weave in all your ends.
If you want to add a border, feel free to, but I actually like this pattern without one. These stitches make a nice rounded look to the washcloth.
There you go! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! If you have any questions, please let me know in the comments. And please feel free to share!
