I’m humbled that you came to this page to learn a little about me…I’ll try not to bore you. ;) Simply stated, I’m a wife and mom of 2 older boys, which means I’m also a professional referee, chauffeur, and life coach. We also have a dog and a cat, because apparently, I’m a glutton for punishment.
I learned how to crochet in 2012, after my life was drastically changed due to a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. Because my life went from busy to boring very quickly, I needed an outlet. My mother-in-law taught me the very first step in crochet, and I was “hooked”! I taught myself the rest, using books from the library (I’m old school like that), online tutorials, and videos. I soon began to get requests for items, and thanks to word of mouth and social media, Uniquely Yarned was born! Six years later, I decided to take the plunge and become legit.
